A charity website earns trust by being careful with small things. An unlabelled stock photo next to a real claim is a small thing that quietly misleads, so we label it.

Every photograph on this website is licensed stock photography used under the Pexels License, which permits commercial use and modification without attribution. They are illustrative. They are not photographs of animals in our care, of our volunteers, of our shelter partners, or of our past events, and no animal pictured here should be understood to be available for adoption.
What changes next
As our own photographs arrive with signed releases from the people and partners involved, they replace these images one by one, and this page shrinks.
