The need
Summer here is not survivable on a sidewalk.
Southern Nevada pavement holds its heat long after the sun goes down. An animal with no shade, no full bowl, and nobody looking for it is in a kind of trouble here that it would not be in somewhere cooler.
That is the gap this work sits in. We keep food and everyday essentials within reach of the shelters and neighbors who do notice.

The quiet ones wait the longest.
Older animals, shy animals, and long stay animals are the ones most likely to be passed by. They are not less deserving of a full bowl, a warm bed, and someone who notices them.
Our work is simple and practical: help the shelters caring for those animals keep food and essentials on hand, and keep the community paying attention.
