What we do
Raise practical support and bring people together.
Community fundraising events, food-support fundraising, volunteer and sponsor mobilization, and advocacy for animals waiting in shelters.
Angelsto Forgotten PetsMission & impact
Angels to Forgotten Pets brings neighbors together to raise funds for food and practical support for shelter pets, through community events, volunteerism, and advocacy.

The idea at our heart
Shelters do demanding work every day. A community organization can help by gathering people, raising resources, and directing attention toward the needs partners have actually identified.
We started because a group of neighbors in the Las Vegas valley kept asking the same question: what would actually help the animals nobody is asking about? The answer was rarely complicated. It was food, supplies, and steady attention.
What we do and what we do not
Being useful means being precise about the role we play, so nobody arrives here expecting something we cannot provide.
What we do
Community fundraising events, food-support fundraising, volunteer and sponsor mobilization, and advocacy for animals waiting in shelters.
What we do not do
We do not house, rescue, adopt out, or provide veterinary care for animals, and we cannot accept an animal from the public. For an animal in need, please contact your local shelter or animal control.
Rooted in Southern Nevada
We are based in Henderson and focused on the Las Vegas area. Working close to home means we can see the need directly, meet the people doing the work, and follow through on what we promise.

Values in practice
These principles shape how we communicate, fundraise, recognize partners, and report results.
Notice the overlooked and respond with care.
Focus on useful, partner-informed support.
Make it easy for neighbors to participate.
Document the path from generosity to outcome.
Keep every story humane, honest, and forward-looking.
A trustworthy impact model
The public deserves more than a big number. It deserves context: what was needed, who approved the work, when it happened, and what the records show.
Verify partner needs, event facts, permissions, and ownership.
Invite neighbors, volunteers, and businesses into a clear effort.
Share dated, sourced outcomes without exaggeration or guesswork.
Accountability
Angels to Forgotten Pets is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation based in Henderson, Nevada, EIN 99-1100119, recognized by the IRS in June 2025 under an animal protection and welfare classification. You can confirm our status through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search or Charity Navigator. Because we are newly recognized, we do not yet have the multi-year filing history that rating systems require, and we would rather say so plainly than imply otherwise.
Questions we should answer clearly
If something you need to know is missing here, ask us and we will either answer it or tell you why we cannot yet.
Donations support food and practical assistance for shelter pets, along with the costs of organizing the fundraising that makes it possible. Online giving is not open yet, because we will not accept money until the receiving account, receipts, and reconciliation are fully set up in the organization’s name.
We are a recognized 501(c)(3), which generally makes contributions deductible to the extent the law allows. We will publish exact receipt and deductibility language, reviewed by a tax adviser, before giving opens. Please consult your own tax adviser about your situation.
No. We are not a shelter and have no intake facility or capacity. Please contact your local animal shelter or animal control for an animal that needs help.
We work with shelters that can tell us a specific, practical need and confirm what they received. We publish partner names only with their written permission.
